The University of West Scotland Skillset Media Academy (UWS) is a dynamic network which links spaces, resources and people to enable creation, collaboration and innovation. It brings together undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with extensive knowledge in creative media.
The Academy benefits from a creative enterprise cluster in Glasgow, working with the Centre for Contemporary Arts, the Scottish Centre for Enabling Technologies and Film City Glasgow in Glasgow’s Digital Media Quarter.
All of this enables networking, collaboration and professional development, with major international media businesses, micro-enterprises and independent practitioners.
