MA Creative Writing: Scriptwriting
UEA's MA Creative Writing: Scriptwriting explores both theory and practice of dramatic writing, addressing contemporary critical debates, analysing written and performance texts, and experimenting with a range of techniques in original writing.
You develop skills in constructive criticism and creative editing of each other's writing, towards the creation of a supportive writers' network.
Modules are taught by theorists and practitioners, and are supplemented by masterclasses given by visiting specialists. Teaching is via seminar discussions and presentations, screenings, workshops, readings and may also include performance visits.
You are assessed through an analytical essay, original creative writing and working process materials.
