University of Hull
MSc Games Programming
Through the MSc in Games Programming at Hull University, students build up an impressive portfolio of technical demos that consistently help about 90% of graduates gain jobs as games programmers. Many graduates are now in senior roles in games companies throughout the world.
This one year full-time course is an advanced MSc. As such it requires applicants to first achieve a good degree (2.2 or better) in a related discipline such as computer science, software engineering or pure science that contains some programming as part of the syllabus.
The course is very demanding and is built on the research expertise of the department. Specialist modules in C++, Graphics, Physics, AI and Parallel Processing ensure that graduates have the skills and knowledge required to immediately contribute in the games industry.
