You will be taught by staff from Abertay’s Institute for Arts, Media and Computer Games among almost 1,000 like-minded students on various games programming, design and art courses, and have the opportunity to work in multidisciplinary teams, providing you with industry relevant experience.

The University has close relationships with local and national games developers and you will be exposed to industry-led seminars and presentations. The course is regularly updated with guidance from industry and provides the core skills necessary for creating computer games.

Skillset Approved Tick logoThe course contains modules on the nature of the computer games industry, mathematics, artificial intelligence, and programming games on PC and console platforms. There is a multidisciplinary game design and development project and an individual dissertation.
