Specialist Qualifications and
Tailored programmes
If you're interested in the Build your own MA concept but would like to follow a more refined pathway, you can enrol on a Specialist Qualification or enquire about the creation of a Tailored Programme - find out more below.
Specialist Qualifications
Specialist qualifications consist of a series of short courses with a specific focus, such as Management and Leadership, Filmmaking or Production Management. These short courses taken together can be combined into a postgraduate qualification in that area.

Who it's for
Rising stars in the Creative Media industry wishing to enhance their management and leadership skills.
Core course components
Creative Leadership, Media Strategy and Implementation.
Where it's delivered
Bournemouth Skillset Media Academy
PG Cert, PG Dip, MA Filmmaking
Who it's for
Those with existing filmmaking experience who wish to develop their specialist skills further.
Core course components
Drama Production, Production for the Small Screen and Feature Film Production.
Where it's delivered
Met Film School, Ealing Studios, London.

Who it's for
Production staff wishing to enhance their production management skills.
Core course components
Compliance, Finance and Budgeting, Project Management, Resourcing a Production and Multiplatform Production in a Digital Environment, Media Management.

Tailored programmes
If your organisation needs to develop key skills and industry knowledge, we can work with you to develop a tailored postgraduate qualification in two ways.
If you already run staff in-house training courses that you believe are at postgraduate level and would like to take this further with a recognised qualification, then we can work with you to validate your courses, perhaps in conjunction with courses undertaken at Skillset Media Academies.
If you do not currently run staff in-house training courses and wish to develop a short course on a specific subject, we can work with you to develop a validated module or modules.
